Q: Are insurance and protection plans available for New, Used, and Refurbished Home Appliances?

Yes, Extended Warranty (Mechanical Malfunction) is available for New Home Appliances purchased in the past 30 days. Purchase the best Protection Plans, insurance and warranty plan for all brands and models of Home Appliances including Samsung, Sony, LG, Panasonic, TCL, Vizio, ViewSonic, Hisense and other brands and models. Used and Refurbished Home Appliances are not eligible for coverage.

Q: Can I purchase a warranty or insurance for used or refurbished Home Appliances purchased from eBay, Amazon, and other online stores?

Coverage is not available for used or refurbished Home Appliances.

Q: Can I purchase a warranty plan for home appliance that will be used in a commercial establishment such as restaurant or other business?

Home appliances are not eligible for warranty if used in a commercial setting or for commercial purposes. The warranty plan must be purchased by the home owner or renter of the residence.

Q: How many claims can I file for Home Appliances?

If you prefer, you may provide an estimate for repair the TV to have it repaired locally at your favorite store. If we can’t repair it, we replace it or reimburse you for the replacement cost of the item.

Q: What does Extended Warranty (Mechanical Malfunction) cover?

Mechanical Malfunction covers failures such as Touch Screen, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, No Power failures for smart home appliances including other internal equipment failures and malfunction of the appliance

Q: Is Accidental Damage coverage available for Home Appliances?

Accidental Damage Plans are not available for Home Appliances. Accidental Damage covers Cracked Screen, Liquid Spills, Full Immersion, and other accidents such as dropped in a pool, chewed by a dog and more.

Q: Can I pay Monthly for Home Appliances Insurance warranty plans?

Yes, option to Pay Monthly may be available for some of the coverage plans. Pay Monthly may not be available for Used or Refurbished Home Appliances or all coverage plans

Q: When does coverage start for insurance of Home Appliances?

Coverage is effective immediately when insurance or warranty is purchased for Home Appliances purchased brand new within 30 days of warranty purchase. The first year is covered under the manufacturer’s warranty and Securranty covers the remaining years of warranty coverage purchased. For example, if you purchase a 4-Year warranty, the 1st year will be covered by the manufacturer and the remaining 3-years will be covered by Securranty.

Q: How does the manufacturer warranty work with Extended Warranty offered by Securranty?

For New products, the first year is covered under manufacturer’s warranty and Securranty covers the remaining years of extended warranty coverage purchased. For example, if you purchase a 4-Year warranty, the 1st year will be covered by the manufacturer and the remaining 3-years will be covered by Securranty.

Q: What information do I need to purchase Home Appliances warranty or insurance?

Once insurance or warranty purchase is completed with Securranty, an automated email with instructions will be sent with instructions to log in to your account so you can update your policy with Model Name, IMEI/Serial Number, and you can upload your receipt or email it to us at docs@securranty.com.
