The manufacturer warranty covers for 1-Year any mechanical malfunction and breakdown from the date of item purchase. However, the manufacturer warranty is limited and does not cover Accidental Damage, Liquid Damage, or other losses related to theft, flood, fire, vandalism, and if the item is lost.
Our protection plan does not replace the manufacturer’s warranty but provides certain additional benefits during the term of the manufacturer’s warranty. First, we'll locate the manufacturer's contact information to help you file a claim for any mechanical malfunction failure during the manufacturer warranty period. If the manufacturer replaces or repairs your Chromebook, we'll cover the repaired or replaced item. If the manufacturer refuses to honor their warranty because they consider your item purchased from an unauthorized retailer, we'll still cover you.
if you purchased Accidental Damage, theft, loss, or Standard Perils (Flood, Fire, and Vandalism) coverage from Us, we will cover any such loss even during the manufacturer warranty period.
If the device has been issued to you by your school, you don't have to provide proof of purchase/store receipt to purchase a plan or file a claim. However, you may be required to provide proof of device Model, Serial #, and date the device was issued to you by your school.
