With AppleCare+ you pay $129 for 2 years. You are allowed 2 claims over a 2 year period. There’s a deductible of $99 and AppleCare+ does not cover Lost & Theft. Comparatively, Enterprise customers with Securranty pay a low monthly per device with Zero Deductibles, unlimited claims that covers failure, Damage, Lost & Theft or Enterprise customers can choose The Essential Plan for even a lower monthly fee without Lost & Theft.

For items covered by a Manufacturer's warranty, • For certain items like phones & tablets, if we offered to cover your item during Manufacturer’s warranty, we will cover it. Otherwise, • First, we'll locate the manufacturer's contact information to help you file a claim. • If the manufacturer replaces or repairs your item, we'll cover the repaired or replaced item. • If the manufacturer refuses to honor their warranty because they consider your item purchased from an unauthorized retailer, we'll still cover you. For our Enterprise customers we do cover manufacturer’s warranty defect claims during the manufacturer warranty period. Unlike other providers, we do not ask you to go to the manufacturer.
If you are an enterprise customer you can have the device repaired locally wherever you are, worldwide, and submit the receipt for reimbursement. This option is available to other customers as well, but we ask they must file a claim first.
For Apple Users If you see No Service or Searching on your iPhone or iPad and you can’t connect to a cellular network, follow these steps…. 1. Restart your iPhone or iPad If these issues still do not resolve the issue… 2. Check for a carrier settings update. Just like our tech gadgets have regular system updates, carriers will also update their towers for improvements to make sure we get proper cell phone reception and avoid dropped or missed calls. (Settings>General>About. There will be an options available directly from the phone to update with the carrier) 3. Make sure your iPhone is up to date with the latest software. Issues with calls can be with simply not updating your device. Those updates are made to fix glitches that occur. (Settings>General>Software Update). 4. Reset Networking Settings in your phone (settings>general>reset>reset network settings). Your data will not be erased but you will need to save your wifi /cellular settings, including saved networks (home or work) and VPN settings 5. Check your SIM card. If you have a SIM card, remove it and reinsert it. There may an issue with the SIM card (dirty or damaged, corrosion) and it needs to be replaced. 6. Call the carrier to verify there is no issue with the SIM card. a. Contact carrier to verify your account is set up to use the iPhone b. Contact carrier to verify that there are no service outages in your area. c. Contact carrier to verify that there are no billing related issues. d. Again, verify that your calls do not have errors within the carriers system. For Samsung/Google Users 1. Try calling a different contact in your phone to check to see if it is just an issue with one contact. 2. Check your SIM card. If you have a SIM card, remove it for 1 minute and reinsert it. There may an issue with the SIM card (dirty or damaged, corrosion) and it needs to be replaced. 3. Call the carrier to verify there is no issue with the SIM card. a. Contact carrier to verify that there are no service outages in your area. b. Contact carrier to verify that there are no billing related issues. c. Again, verify that your calls do not have errors within the carriers system for phone calls. 4. Verify and make sure that the number is not on the Auto Reject List 5. Power on the device in Safe Mode to see if the issue persists. 6. Disable and remove applications that have features to block and reject calls. 7. Make sure Flight Mode is disabled. 8. Perform a Factory Reset 9. If issue persists, contact carrier.
Usually, the Wi-Fi button on your iPhone is grey and you cannot turn it on, it is a hardware issue with the device and it needs to be replaced. For Apple Users If apps that you installed won’t open or unexpectedly quits, try these steps… 1. Check for iOS updates and make sure you are using the latest iOS. Make sure your iPhone is up to date with the latest software. Issues with calls can be with simply not updating your device. Those updates are made to fix glitches that occur. (Settings>General>Software Update). 2. General>Reset> Reset Network Setting. (This will reset all the network settings, WiFi Passwords, VP, and APN settings) 3. If issue persists, contact Apple Support or take your device to an Apple Retail Store For Samsung/Google Users 1. Restart your device a couple of times 2. Restart the phone in Safe Mode to see if the issue is due to a third part application a. When in safe mode, switch the wifi switch on and off. b. If it turns on when in safe mode, restart the device. c. Discover which downloaded applications are causing the problem. Clear the cache or uninstall the app. (tap Apps> Settings> Applications> Application Manager> swipe right to All screen> scroll and tap suspected> tap Clear Cache> tap Clear Data button. d. Reset device bringing it back to its default settings. 3. If issue persists, contact to authorized service provider.
We typically ship device using UPS or FedEx and sometimes USPS. For address with P.O. Box we typically ship via USPS. You can click on the specific claim to view the shipping & tracking details including reprinting your shipping label to ship the claim device to our repair depot.
You will receive a shipping label to return the claim device soon as your claim is approved via email as an attachment. You may also reprint the label. Go to www.securranty.com > Click My Account > Claims > View Claim > Shipping & Tracking > Click Reprint (Postage to Depot).
If we provided you a replacement device in advance, you must return the claim device promptly so it is received at our depot within 10 days of claim date. Failure to do so may result in a device replacement fee to your account.
We provide a SIM card with replacements sent for lost & stolen claims. You may also obtain a SIM Card from your wireless provider store typically free of charge.
